Every Monday morning at 7:10 am, I am a guest contributor on CHOM 97.7 FM radio out of Montreal (home base). It’s not a long segment – about 10 minutes every week – about everything that is happening in the world of technology and digital media. The good folks at CHOM 97.7 FM are posting these segments weekly on i Heart Radio, if you’re interested in hearing more of me blathering away about what’s going on in the digital world. I’m really excited about this opportunity, because this is the radio station that I grew up listening to, and it really is a fun treat to be invited to the Mornings Rock with Terry DiMonte morning show. The segment is called, CTRL ALT Delete with Mitch Joel.

• The iPhones are coming! The iPhones are coming! We teased out last week that we would wait to see what Apple‘s new line of technology would look like. In a world where there are are no secrets, it looks like all of the rumours running up to last Wednesday’s big launch were true. We’ve got cheaper iPhones, more expensive iPhones, faster iPhones, bigger screen iPhones. iPhones for everyone!… And, what looks like a beautiful new Apple Watch too! 
• Amazon‘s Jeff Bezos has not been outspoken or blatant with his charitable endeavours. Until now. Last week, Bezos launched a $2 billion fun to help homeless families and early education (full-scholarship preschool program) with his newly minted, Day One Fund. That is a massive amount of philanthropy and will have a significant impact on our world.
