Foreword Thinking – The Business And Motivational Book Review Podcast Is Back With Episode Four

Posted by

It’s been way too long since the last episode of Foreword Thinking – The Business And Motivational Book Review Podcast. Today I posted episode number four over at the Foreword Thinking Blog.
My guess is most people thought I had hit the dreaded “Pod Fade” – when a Podcaster gets what would be considered the equivalent to Writer’s Block or simply does run out of things to say. That was never going to happen with me (this Podcast is not a *bleeping* toaster).
Episode number four of Foreword Thinking (which Twist Image is doing in collaboration with HarperCollins Canada) features a great conversation with Alan Kearns, Author of Get the Right Job, Right Now: Proven Tools, Tips and Techniques from Canada’s Career Coach and also the head of CareerJoy (where he is also a Blogger and Podcaster). I had the pleasure of sitting down – face-to-face – with Alan last week in Kingston, Ontario at Podcasters Across Borders. The event inspired me to get much more serious about producing more regular shows of Foreword Thinking and sitting down with Alan made me realize that I am following my passion and should share it with the world.
I’m also interested in doing a lot more with the Foreword Thinking Podcast, so my next step is to have a Skypecast discussion (think of it like a Business Book Review) on the classic book, Good To Great – Why Some Companies Make the Leap… and Others Don’t, by Jim Collins. Collins wrote the book in 2001 and I think it will be interesting to have a discussion around the book’s premise and what it means to us six years later.
Please let me know if you would be interested in taking part in this Good To Great discussion.
