SPOS #102 – Presentation Zen With Garr Reynolds

Posted by

Welcome to episode #102 of Six Pixels Of Separation – The Twist Image Podcast. This is an entire episode with Garr Reynolds who has the most-awesome Blog (and book of the same name), Presentation Zen. We discuss the power of understanding how great presentations come together, what it takes to make them successful, and how powerful of a Marketing tool a great presentation is (and can be) – think about Steve Jobs from Apple. Garr was even kind enough to lead a very special Six Points of Separation. If you (or someone you know) has to present (and who doesn’t?), please make sure to get them to listen. Garr is a total treat, and a very powerful and insightful guy – check it out. Enjoy the conversation…

  1. Thanks for the Podcast with Garr. I am also from Montreal and last year I had the opportunity to leave for Japan and go to Kansai Gaidai where Garr teaches. Garr’s class and his presentation that he gives in Osaka (with other of his friends at Design Matter) blew me away… it actually changed me a lot. I am finance / International Business student and I love presentation but I see in University that almost all student hates presentation and they can’t design at all when it comes to use slides (I dream one day that a teacher will say “please don’t use slides”). I also which that there were more creative / design courses in Business Majors. Thanks to garr, I can present more effectively and I have more confidence inside me when I present. Garr’s book is a must… no matter what!

  2. Mitch, this was great episode. thank you so much for the interview with gar Reynolds. In fact I had spoken with guy Kawasaki some month ago and I have since purchased the book. I am glad for the interview as it has reminded me to get my butt in gear and finish out the book. I have learned a lot so far and plan to utilize his multi-media tips in my Web 2.0 for the Arts presentation at Podcamp Boston 3.
Again Mitch, thank you so much for the amazing information.
