Media Hacks Podcast #19 Is Now Live

Posted by

Episode #176 of Six Pixels of Separation – The Twist Image Podcast is now live and ready for you to listen to. It is also episode #19 of Media Hacks.

It’s not a great excuse, but business travel has kept the Six Pixels of Separation Podcast from being published – which (as you will hear) is a very lame excuse. Regardless, here is also a new episode of Media Hacks (it’s #19). It’s actually just a very personal conversation with Julien Smith (In Over Your Head and Trust Agents) about community, business, communication, business books and how to own your platform(s). The other co-hosts (C.C. Chapman, Chris Brogan, Christopher S. Penn and Hugh McGuire could not make the call). Also, it’s Julien, so please note that some of the language is not work-safe (like every second word out of his mouth). Enjoy the conversation.

  1. I’M LISTENING! I just found myself nodding furiously during your last podcast. Sometimes the simple messages are the most profound. I’m currently reading Chris Locke’s Gonzo Marketing. You might find it interesting as well.

  2. great to see you back with podcasts and a good podcast as usual.
i was waiting but knew it would be a while as you and the other guys would be on book tours + work.
read your book and enjoyed it and got a lot of note points out of it.

  3. Great to have you back I was starting to miss my weekly dose of marketing inspiration.
What you and Julien had to say about the haters reminded me of a societal phenomenon we have here in Australia called ‘Tall Poppy Syndrome’ where those with talent and achievement are criticised instead of celebrated.
It’s a trait that hinders more than helps, and only serves to hold most people back from reaching their full potential for fear of becoming a victim it.
