IAB Canada – Quebec Division – Hosts Surf Qui Peut 2006 On June 1st

I have a favorite saying: “if it wasn’t for the last minute, nothing would get done.” I don’t know who said it, but it’s true.
IAB CanadaQuebec Division – is hosting our summer social event, Surf Qui Peut 2006, on June 1st, 2006 from 2:00 – 5:00 pm. The networking, drinking and learning is taking place at Chaz (located on Nun’s Island – a great venue and about five minutes from downtown Montreal).
The event is free for IAB Canada members or by invitation only. If you feel like you should be invited, please drop me a line. There is a five dollar entry fee, but all of that money goes to a charitable organization that is close to my heart: BEC – Benevolat D’Entraide Aux Communicateurs (known in the rest of Canada as NABS – National Advertising Benevolent Society).
During Surf Qui Peut 2006, there will be a small presentation on the projects and activities that IAB Canada is presently involved with, upcoming events and a couple of words from BEC.
Along with some drinks and canapés, there will also be some action on the golf range (including an opportunity to win some cool prizes). If you’re interested in learning more about this event or IAB Canada, please let me know.
Full disclosure: I hold the title of Vice-Chair, Quebec for IAB Canada and I also sit on the Quebec Executive Board for BEC/NABS.
