IAB Canada – Interactive Advertising Bureau – Social Media Marketing Seminar Starts On Monday – This Is The Last Call For Montreal And Toronto

Posted by

The IAB Canada – Interactive Advertising Bureau full-day seminar on Social Media And Web 2.0 Marketing starts this coming Monday, June 11th in Montreal and then hits Toronto on Wednesday, June 13th. This will be a full-day of understanding the many channels of Social Media and Web 2.0 with a pure Marketing slant. Beyond understanding the channels, we’ll take a look at why Marketers need to pay attention, what’s already been done, how it has been done and the major opportunities to engage in them (both in terms of advertising and creating your own marketing opportunities by leveraging the tools).
Here’s how the IAB Canada describes the Social Media And Web 2.0 Marketing Seminar:
“The Interactive Advertising Bureau of Canada’s new intensive, one-day course in Social Media Marketing, is a full 8-hours long, and is designed to simplify and demonstrate the many new channels of marketing, advertising and communication that make up the Social Media and Web 2.0 space.
Attendees will learn about Online Social Networks, RSS, Tags, Consumer Generated Content, Blogs, Podcasts, Wikis and Virtual Worlds – and more importantly, how to leverage these marketing channels for optimal results.”
I’ve spent a good chunk of time gathering everything from statistics, definitions, videos, commentaries and more to develop this full-day seminar and, if you’re interested in learning about how you can leverage Marketing in Social Media and Web 2.0 environments, you won’t be disappointed.
The Social Media And Web 2.0 Marketing Seminar will also be taking place in Vancouver (June 20th) and Halifax (June 27th), so you have fairly limited time to register.
You can register and view the full course outline here: IAB Canada – Interactive Advertising Bureau – Social Media And Web 2.0 Marketing Seminar.
I hope to see you there and an open invitation for Geek Dinner or Geek Drinks is still on the table, so please let me know if you would like to meet-up.
