SPOS #191 – Media Hacks #25

Posted by

Welcome to episode #191 of Six Pixels Of Separation – The Twist Image Podcast. This is also episode #25 of Media Hacks. Thankfully, C.C. Chapman came in and was able to host the intro (I was a little late to the call) where we discuss a whole bunch of stuff that surrounds some bigger themes about privacy, security, publishing and opening up the platforms. There’s talk about Please Rob Me, Foursquare, Wired Magazine, the TED conference and much, much more. Please note: this episode does have language, so it is not work safe. Enjoy the conversation…

  1. I love Media Hacks! I’m from Canada but studying in China right now…and I love how you guys keep me up-to-date AND entertained at the same time.
Also…I have no problem with profanity. It makes me laugh. Sometimes I’ll just be walking around Xiamen, listening, and something you guys say will make me burst out laughing. People stare. I just shrug it off.
    Best,
    Heather

  2. Thanks guys for the laughs!
FYI – I looked like a crazy person LMAO on the NYC subway while listening.
Burglr.com is just way toooo funny. My boyfriend is a research associate. It’s like my own private investigator. Information is sooooooo public these days, it’s a little scary.
Apple is a control freak. Not that it’s a bad thing.
Congrats Julien on owning a humongous asset. Good luck on the maintenance and the search for lamps!
    =)

  3. I am seriously addicted to this show! Love it you guys, great to be able to peer a bit closer into your minds! Hilarious when the profanity breaks out!
    Lamps!
