Montreal Business Book Club Reminder For Next Week

Posted by

The Montreal Business Book Club will be meeting next week to discuss And Now A Few Words From Me by Bob Garfield. The date for this session is Tuesday, October 11th, 6:30 pm at Twist Image. This date is the make-up session for September 2005.
I would also like to remind you that the October session of the Montreal Business Book Club is taking place on Wednesday, October 26th, 6:30 pm at Twist Image where we will be discussing Winning by Jack Welch with Suzy Welch. It really is a remarkable book on business, management and leadership.
Here is a brief description of Winning from the Jack Welch Winning website:
“Winning is destined to become the bible of business for generations to come. It clearly and succinctly lays out the answers to the most difficult, important questions people face both on and off the job. Welch’s objective is to speak to people at every level of the organization, in companies large and small. His audience is everyone from line workers to college students and MBAs, from project managers to senior executives. He describes his core business principles and devotes most of Winning to the real ‘stuff’ of work – how to lead, hire, get ahead, even write a budget. Welch’s optimistic, no excuses, get-it-done mind set is riveting. His goal is to help anyone and everyone who has a passion for success.”
I really enjoyed reading Winning by Jack Welch. I hope you will join us at the Montreal Business Book Club. If you are interested in attending, please RSVP to me.
