This is definitely very flattering.
When Eli Singer launched the CaseCamp concept, I got very excited to get a CaseCamp Montreal rolling. One of the eager participants who presented is a good friend (and past employer), Andy Nulman. Nulman is President and Chief Marketing Officer of Airborne Entertainment (and also one of founders of Montreal’s world renowned Just For Laughs comedy festival). As the concept for CaseCamp evolved, Nulman made it clear that he really thought the notion of an unconference was inspiring.
Welcome To MobiCamp.
That’s what the press release read yesterday. Nulman (along with the support of Airborne Entertainment) created MobiCamp to provide “innovators from all levels of the wireless industry with a platform to voice their most original thoughts and new directions.”
This is a great example of The Long Tail Riot in action.
The first-ever MobiCamp is taking place on Monday, September 11th from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, CA.
