Light The Night 2025… A Walk Of Thanks

Posted by

I’ll be walking again this Saturday for a very worthy cause.

I’ve done this walk for many years now.
Always with friends, peers and community memebers… and always with purpose.

It’s called Light The Night, and it’s for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada.

If you know my story… you know why I walk.
Over a decade ago, my best friend’s daughter, Leah, was diagnosed with leukemia… when she was five.
Healthy, full of laughter, playing with my kids one week… then suddenly fighting for her life the next.

Leah is now thriving. A happy, healthy young woman.

But too many others don’t make it.
That’s why I walk.
Every year.
And every year, I ask for your help.

Here’s the deal…

If anything I’ve written, recorded, or shared over the years has ever made you think differently about business, technology or the future…
If one of my podcasts has made your commute better, or a newsletter line made you pause and see things from a new angle…
If a talk, article or LinkedIn post has ever sparked an idea that helped you or your business…

Think of this ask as the “tip jar”.

I don’t charge for the content.
But it does take time, heart and energy.
And this is the one time that I ask for something in return.

Not for me.

For the kids and families who are facing what Leah once faced.
For the researchers trying to end this cruel blood cancer.
For the community that turns darkness into light… one lantern, one step, one story at a time.

This isn’t about grand gestures.

It’s about quiet generosity.
A few dollars… a simple act… that means the world to someone else.

This Saturday, I’ll walk again.

I’ll be walking with your support, your kindness and your light.
If my work has ever resonated with you, please consider contributing to Light The Night 2025.

You can donate right here: Mitch Joel Fundraising Page.

Thank you for walking this journey with me… in every sense of the word.
