It turns out you can’t turn the page of a business book on innovation or marketing and not run into a Montreal-created company called Cirque Du Soleil. Whether it’s a rant from Tom Peters or the prime example used in Blue Ocean Strategy, Cirque Du Soleil is a fascinating experience and a brilliant business.
The American Marketing Association‘s Montreal arm (Association Marketing Du Montreal) is hosting a lunch with Cirque Du Soleil President, Daniel Lamarre, on Wednesday, January 18th, 2006 at the Marriott Chateau Champlain hotel in downtown Montreal. If you’re a member of the association, the cost is $55 ($80 for non-members).
My guess is that Daniel Lamarre’s speech will be in French, but it is an event not-to-be missed.
