I’m just getting ready to head over to the first day of the CMA – Canadian Marketing Association – National Convention And Trade Show. I did a quick Blog posting over at One Degree called: You Hit Mesh, I’ll Cover The CMA.
My hope is that the people who are attending the now sold-out mesh conference – Canada’s Web 2.0 Conference – in Toronto will Blog and post on all of the developments. I’ll do the same from the CMA convention here in Montreal (expect Blog postings from me here at the Twist Image Blog and over at One Degree as well).
On the menu for today at the CMA Conference? I kick-off this morning with a special intensive session called Marketing for Entrepreneurs And Small Business with my co-presenters John Swettenham – General Manager, Marketing, Parcels Division at Canada Post Corporation and Alan Flint – Vice-President, Membership Marketing & Services at the Canadian Marketing Association. From there, I will be the speaker host for Andrew Horberry – General Manager at Imagination for his presentation – What’s Next for Experiential Marketing? My day concludes with a keynote from one of my favorite people – Kevin Roberts. I would like to think that I played a small part (re: begged the organizing committee) in getting Roberts to come and speak at this conference. Roberts is the CEO Worldwide of Saatchi & Saatchi and the author of Lovemarks. Kevin Roberts’ keynote is: Emotional Rescue: Winning in the Attraction Economy.
It’s going to be an amazing day.
