What A Week In Digital Marketing This Will Be

If you’re interested in augmenting your Marketing skills by integrating Digital Marketing into your mix, then the CMA – Canadian Marketing Association – is once again offering their E-Marketing course in Montreal. The course will be given in English, and I will once again be sharing teaching duties with Twist Image‘s Vice-President of Strategic Development, Dave Haber.

This E-Marketing course is the only one of its kind in Canada where upon graduation there is a a full accreditation with a professional certificate in E-Marketing.

The course takes place every Tuesday evening (6:30 – 9:00 pm) from September 23rd, 2008 – January 13th, 2009.

Here is how the Canadian Marketing Association website explains the E-Marketing certificate course:

"This course is designed for someone with one to five years of marketing experience. By enrolling in this in-depth and empowering course, your career will benefit for years to come. E-Marketing is attracting the kind of individuals that are looking to expand their professional scope, individuals that are seeking thorough and comprehensive training with practical hands-on experience – the kind that will enrich their growing knowledge base.

CMA brings together a knowledgeable and technically advanced team of instructors, who share their insight and skills with you. When you complete CMA’s Professional Certificate in E-Marketing, you prove to the world that you’ve mastered this challenging course and that you are ready to go to the next level. Now you can be confident that you are equipped with the latest tools to expand your career and play an increasingly valuable role in your organization."

You can also view the full course outline here: Canadian Marketing Association – E-Marketing Certificate Course Outline.

The e-marketing course will also be given in both Toronto and Vancouver as well. Six Pixels of Separation friend, Michael Seaton (The Client Side), teaches one of the courses in Toronto.

Speaking of Toronto, this coming week I will also be giving my full-day seminar on Social Media Marketing for the IAB Canada – Interactive Advertising Bureau. The session is taking place on Wednesday, June 11th, 2008 and you can get full details here: IAB Canada – Social Media Marketing – Full-Day Seminar – Toronto.

I’ll be sticking around Toronto at the end of the week to also lead a special lunch session in conversation with David Usher (solo artist, former lead singer of the platinum-plus selling rock band, Moist and Blogger over at CloudID) at this year’s From Mass To Grass – Word of Mouth Marketing Conference produced by the CMA on Thursday, June 12th, 2008. Then, David and I will be joined by EMI Music Publishing Canada‘s President, Michael McCarty for a roundtable discussion on the future of the music industry and the Internet called, It Better be Free, or How Can You Sell What Others Are Practically Giving Away?, at NXNE on Friday, June 13th, 2008.

Make sure to come on down and say "hi."
