I arrived in Singapore late last night after travelling for close to thirty hours. I’m here to speak at the Singapore Management University as a guest of Michael Netzley. Michael is running PodCamp Singapore here and although it runs nothing like the unconference PodCamps that started in the United States, he’s managed to pull together a day-and-a-half of compelling topics and talkers. I was also asked to speak at the Institute Of Public Relations Singapore for their event: PR 2.0 – Engaging Stakeholders In The New Media Landscape.
The next episode of Six Pixels Of Separation – The Twist Image Podcast (# 62) will go live at some point this week. I definitely want the people I meet here to be a part of show, so I’m not sure when it will be recorded or posted, but keep watching your feeds. I suspect it will happen in the next few days.
I also know that the beauty of Blogging and Podcasting is that there is not a set schedule, but my schedule for Six Pixels Of Separation has been quite regular and it’s usually posted around this time. It’s like reading your favourite magazine. You know it comes out monthly and once you’re on the schedule, you can just “feel” when it’s supposed to come out.
In the meantime, if you came here looking for some Sunday knowledge (we could all use more), let me direct you to a great post by Chris Brogan. It’s called: Blogging Advice For the Next Level.
I always enjoy reading Chris’ Blog and he could not be more accurate in his post. If you’re Blogging and wondering how you’re going to grow your content, or if you’re thinking of starting to Blog and you really want to take it to the next level (and, let’s face, if you’re thinking of Blogging and you have nothing new to add to the conversation, what is the point?), then this post should spark some creativity.
