PodCamp Toronto Is Happening Today And Tomorrow

If you’re in or around the Greater Toronto Area this weekend, and are looking for some Social Media, Web 2.0 and/or Podcasting inspiration, please make sure to head over to Ryerson University and attend the always-free and self-organizing unconference glory that is PodCamp Toronto. All you have to do is head on over to the wiki and sign-up (it looks like close to 450 people will be there).

It also looks like there are still some slots to present, so feel free to share your knowledge and wisdom there. That’s the real spirit of what an unconference is all about – the community and sharing.

It’s killing me that I can’t be there, but through the magic of technology it looks like I will be taking part. On Sunday at 4:30 pm, there will be a session called, Social Media & Branding. I will take part via the new online video chat system, ooVoo. I’m hoping the bandwidth is generous for a seamless experience. Until then, I’m going to head over and catch some of the live video streaming of PodCamp Toronto.

For more information: PodCamp Toronto.

Lastly, a message to all attending: I really wish I could be there. Be sure to network, exchange ideas freely and ask the tough questions – that’s what everyone is there to do.
