Doc Searls is probably best known as one of the co-authors of The Cluetrain Manifesto. He is also the man who created the well-known saying, “markets are conversations.”
Over the past few years, Searls has continued on his digerati path as an insightful speaker, Blogger and technologist. Seeing as it is Thanksgiving up here in Canada, I thought I would let someone else do the Blogging, so I direct you to The Doc Searls Weblog and this brilliant post with tons of great links: Newspaper 2.0.
Searls provides copious amounts of obvious insights into what traditional publishers need to be doing to survive in a world where Citizen Journalism is on the rise and trust in traditional news sources is at an all-time low.
Happy Thanksgiving (or Columbus Day for those in the States). Here’s Doc: The Doc Searls Weblog – Newspaper 2.0.
