IMC 2005 Coming To Montreal

IMC 2005 is being held March 14th – 16th in Montreal at the Hotel Crowne Plaza (505 Sherbrooke East). For the past three years I have spoken, sat on panels and attended all of the sessions. I love IMC because when I usually go to internet-based conferences they are large, focused on one specific area of internet marketing (i.e. just email, search engines, etc…) and offer little networking beyond the people sitting to the left and right of you.
IMC is a great opportunity to see and hear about the entire landscape of the online marketing world including: domains, email, search engine, banners, creative, Blogs, wireless, analytics, usability and much more. Plus, it usually attracts a smaller crowd and this gives everyone an amazing three days to interact with people like eMarketer‘s Geoff Ramsey, T-3‘s Gay Gaddis, Fjord/Cassette‘s Tara ODoherty, yours truly and many more.

Here’s a rough draft of my keynote presentation description:
The Nuts – If Marketing Is Like Poker You Need The Best Hand
Understand that the term “integrated marketing” sounds more like a surgical procedure than how to best strategize your business for tectonic growth. Learn how to build your business around multiple marketing and communications programs that dissolve the online/offline antiquated approach for a goal-centric, money-making long-term strategy that is simple, easy and immediate. Come see how everyone from Google to Apple did it and does it and how you can too… at a fraction of the cost. Remember they weren’t always Google and Apple – not too long ago they were just like us – great ideas, strong initiatives and tight budgets. The Nuts will be an interactive discussion on what you can do in marketing and communications – both online and offline – to weigh the odds in your favor and flush the competition.
I hope to see you here in Montreal.
