In my earlier Blog post, Fast Company Magazine Article Change Or Die, I should have mentioned that the article, Change Or Die, was actually the cover story for the May 2005 edition of Fast Company Magazine.
Also, within that same Fast Company issue is an article called, 25 Top Women Business Builders. I’ve Blogged many times about how T3 – The Think Tank‘s President and CEO, Gay Warren Gaddis, gets it. You can view one posting here: iMedia Connection Features Gay Warren Gaddis of T3 – The Think Tank. Gay was listed as number five in their Top 25 Women Business Builders.
Here’s her blurb (written by Michael Prospero):
“5. Gay Warren Gaddis
49, President and CEO, T3 (The Think Tank), Austin, Texas
Gay Gaddis used her $16,000 IRA to found T3 (The Think Tank), aiming to create more than just another ad agency. T3 helps companies integrate marketing into their broader strategies – as when it helped Dell develop a marketing course with the University of Texas at Austin to cement the company’s presence in its community. And Gaddis restructured her agency to keep supporting Dell when it went to an Internet-heavy strategy eight years ago. Her motto: ‘It all goes back to client needs’ – a reason, perhaps, T3’s revenue has been growing at almost 22% a year.”
I have spoken at conferences with Gay and seen her incredible story come to life in a very interesting agency model. T3 now has over 140 employees and Gay is known as one of the United States’ leading female entrepreneurs. Her clients include: Dell, MSN, MTV, JC Penney, John Deere and Nortel.
