I’m very proud to announce that the CMA – Canadian Marketing Association – launched the official Candian Marketing Blog today. In the interest of full disclosure, Twist Image developed and designed the Blog, and I have the pleasure of being involved with the Digital Marketing Council of the CMA, which was the driving force behind the Blog’s creation.
Sandra Singer who is the Senior Director, Councils and Research at the CMA was the professional lead behind the Canadian Marketing Blog, and we had great help from all of the council members, including Michael Seaton from Scotiabank (and Blogger from The Client Side).
Here’s how the Canadian Marketing Blog is described:
“This Blog is an initiative of the CMA Digital Marketing Council. All marketing-related topics are fair game: branding, strategy, online, offline, marketing trends, technology, direct marketing, market research…and more.”
In the true spirit of Social Media, the Canadian Marketing Association is calling all members of the marketing community (not just CMA members) to join the conversation by reading, commenting and, of course, posting.
For the past several months, the Canadian Marketing Blog has been running is “preview mode” on a Blogger platform. Today was the “official” launch.
