I’m heading to Ottawa early on Monday morning to take part in the CMA’s – Canadian Marketing Association – National Convention and Trade Show which takes place from Monday, May 14th until Wednesday, May 16th, 2007 at the Ottawa Congress Centre.
I’m pulling much more than double-duty on this go around. To start with, I have been asked to do the opening keynote, and my presentation, Burn The Ships – New World Tactics For Marketers In A Digital World, is ready to go. I’ll also be named the Co-Chair of this event for next year (which is quite the honor). Plus, I get the privilege of introducing David Jones, co-host of the Inside PR Podcast and Senior Vice President, Fleishman-Hillard Canada, who is presenting Engage! How Social Media Can Build Brands Through Consumer Connection, and then I get to do the same for David Balter, Founder and CEO of BzzAgent who is presenting, Integrating Word Of Mouth Into Your Marketing Mix.
On top of that, there are more than a double-fistful of other amazing speakers, presentations and meet-ups that are taking place. I’m looking forward to recording some audio and doing some Blogging live from the convention.
If you’re looking for last minute marketing inspiration, come join us here. If you simply can’t make it, do yourself a favor and check out the killer line-up of speakers: CMA – Canadian Marketing Association National Convention And Trade Show 2007.
