Ask The Experts… What am I doing here?

YES Montreal held their Ask The Experts: Media Night session. Over 40 young people came to hear me blab about my other pastime – freelance journalism. I think I learn more from the people there than they do from me. I’ve been writing for over 15 years. I’ve interviewed and had the pleasure of fulfilling many dreams (and then writing about them) – it’s amazing to see people on the cusp – ready, willing and able to just give it.
The panel also included a Sports Journalist from 940 AM News and a reporter for TV’s CFCF news program. Lots of different backgrounds with lots of similar passions. We boiled it down to: asking a lot of questions and getting the answer that you, the public, want to hear. A good time was had by all!
