The Greatness Guide: 10 Best Lessons Life Has Taught Me By Robin Sharma – Montreal Business Book Club August Selection

Posted by

The August session of The Montreal Business Book Club will feature The Greatness Guide: 10 Best Lessons Life Has Taught Me By Robin Sharma. This discussion is taking place on Wednesday, August 30th, 6:30 pm at Twist Image.
The Greatness Guide is a quick, easy but very deep read. Sharma is best-known for his best-selling book, The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari. At first glance, I was skeptical if I would enjoy The Greatness Guide, but I enjoyed it so much, that I (along with my business partners) bought a copy for everyone who works at Twist Image.
It’s a quick read and a great way to spend a hot summer’s night before bed.
Here’s a description of The Greatness Guide from Sharma’s website:
“The Greatness Guide is a strikingly powerful and enormously practical handbook that will inspire you to get to world-class in both your personal and professional life. Written by Robin Sharma, one of the planet’s top success coaches and a man whose ideas have been embraced by celebrity CEOs, leading entrepreneurs, rock stars and royalty as well as by many FORTUNE 500 companies, The Greatness Guide contains a proven formula that will help you meet your highest potential and live an extraordinary life… Within the pages of The Greatness Guide, you will receive uncommon advice that will uplift, energize and move you to action including ‘Drink Coffee with Gandhi’, ‘Speak Like a Superstar’, ‘Commit to First-Class’, ‘Problems Reveal Genius’, ‘Lead Without Title’ and ‘The Person Who Experiences Most Wins.’ This is a book that will breathe new life into your days and help you play your best game as a human being.”
Trust me, each chapter is an experience.
I am going to shoot an email over to Sharma and see if he is interested in participating at The Montreal Business Book Club by phone.
As always, everyone is free to join, but please RSVP by email to me and make sure to read this: The Montreal Business Book Club – A Primer.

  1. This book is great. A very wise person gave me a copy earlier this week and I have not been able to put it down.
In the same way – Bryan Person of Bryper dropped by for CaseCamp and SPOS, I hope one of my visits to Montreal coincides with a Business Book Club.

  2. Michael, it was a pleasant coincidence to be in Montreal for CaseCamp, and I’m so grateful that I was. After all, Mitch labled me a “psycho” Six Pixels a few days later. What better compliment could there be than that!

  5. This book is a quick and easy read.
Robin Sharma is one of the truly bright young stars among the self-improvement authors.
I appreciate his writing style and humble approach to very touchy topics like this.
I think the best way to read this book is by reading a chapter a day and think about it. And then next day read the next chapter.
In this way, you can learn a lot.
