Geoff Ramsey Of EMarketer To Speak In Montreal Next Week

IAB Canada (Interactive Advertising Bureau) brings its Interactive To The Max Roadshow to Montreal on Thursday, October 13th from 8:15 am until about noon at the Paramount Theatre in downtown Montreal (977 Ste-Catherine West).
The Montreal event is featuring a special keynote address by Geoff Ramsey who is the CEO of eMarketer.
I have seen Geoff speak on many occasions over the years (including last year’s Interactive To The Max by IAB Canada) and he always impresses. Here’s Geoff’s bio:
“One of the Internet’s most exciting digital marketing visionaries, Geoff spent the first 17 years of his career in advertising. Working at New York advertising agencies, including TBWA, NW Ayer & Partners and Ogilvy & Mather, he used his strategic marketing and research skills to help create marketing and advertising successes for multinational firms such as Procter & Gamble, Kraft General Foods, M&M Mars and AT&T.
Geoff is also a dynamic and highly entertaining speaker and makes it his and eMarketer’s business to supply business leaders and marketers with a fresh perspective, research statistics, trends and best practices covering every aspect of the Internet. One of his primary goals is to show how to successfully execute in today’s rapidly evolving e-business landscape. He is frequently quoted by the business and trade press, including the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Fortune, BusinessWeek, CNN, Business 2.0 and Advertising Age.”
Along with Geoff’s address, the IAB Canada’s Interactive To The Max roadshow will also offer case-study reviews and their now infamous state-of-the-nation overview with the most recent trends, techniques and technologies being used for the interactive channels.
Ticket price is a minimal $25 with a percent of the proceeds going to NABS (Nationals Advertising Benevolent Society – which is called BEC in Quebec).

Full disclosure warning: I think it’s only fair to mention that I am the Vice-Chair of Quebec for IAB Canada and that I sit on the Board Of Directors for NABS – BEC in Quebec.
