Geek Dinner Toronto IV – Attack Of The Conversation – Next Week

Posted by

On January 25th, 2007, I will be in Toronto speaking at the AIMS Canada event, Should Your Company Be Podcasting? My presentation, “Podcasting – The Audience Is Listening… The Audience Is Creating,” is ready and Michael Seaton from Scotiabank and The Client Side will also be presenting, “Banking On A Podcast – How A Big Five Bank Delivers Through Audio.”
You know what that means?
After the event is over, we’re kicking 2007 off with Geek Dinner Toronto IV – Attack Of The Conversation. That’s right, as if the name Geek Dinner wasn’t geeky enough, we’ve now added on a very silly spin-off of a Stars Wars title (I can see Ed Lee rolling his eyes as I type this).
Details are still sketchy at this time, but we do need to make reservations. So here’s what we do know:
Geek Dinner Toronto IV.
Thursday, January 25th, 2007.
7:00 pm.
Location: TBC (probably somewhere near the venue of the AIMS Canada event).
Each person is responsible to cover the costs of their own dinner and drinks. We will do our best to ensure that everyone can pay on a separate tab.
So, if you are interested in joining us for food, drinks and conversation at this Toronto Digerati meet-up, drop me an email. I can’t promise there will be room for everyone – this is first come, first serve – but I’ll let you know either way.
As always, feel free to Blog, Podcast or flickr it up at Toronto Geek Dinner IV. I’ll have the handy M-Audio MicroTrack in tow, so if you can’t make, it’s very likely that some of the conversation will make its way onto Six Pixels Of Separation – The Twist Image Podcast.
See you next week in Toronto.

  1. Due to absolutely no coercion, I am voting for Lisa. The geek dinner needs female representation – as opposing as the two concepts may be…
    Sorry Doug 😉

  2. My vote is for this Lisa girl. She clearly works hard. She deserves a much needed glass of wine over geek discussions. There should be no question about this.

  4. Okay, so the sub-text here is that you have more friends at work than I do., Lisa. Fine, I will take that on the chin.
However, as the self-appointed return officer, I declare all votes save the first null and void, due to irregularities in the IP Addresses. Plus, your aren’t fooling anyone Lisa Alletson-Walter…
The candidate from the Walker Family is declared!

  5. I vote for slipping some Xanax in the baby formula, slipping out together, and hoping for the best. Seriously, why can’t you get a babysitter?
As for my vote, mine definitely goes to Doug. No, Lisa. Doh! I love them both so much! It’s like asking me to choose between my right and left arm. How could I?
